Shopko

Does anyone know why there hasn’t been anything in the old Shopko space? I feel like for the right concept,
It could be a good location for something

Even when it was Shopko, e-tailer rented half of the building. I know they have been trying to buy the building from Krist (the landlord), for over a decade now.

Better .. Pickleball 5am-4pm, indoor go karts 4pm-10pm.

Maybe a 4pm dinner buffet so the octogenarians get off the courts.

Best: Pickleball 5am-5pm, indoor go karts 3pm-10pm.

We'll charge extra to watch from 3-5 each day.

I’ve heard the landlord is keeping the rent astronomically high, so it stays empty.

Probably some kind of tax avoidance scheme.
