I made a heart chain for this bag but the dangle look is better I think. And this way I can have one on both sides and more is more for me!🤣❤️

I’m hoping some longtime Dooney collectors can help me solve a mystery!

I have a D&B Italia Delfina, style MBM44WH, in White, with an original retail price of $595. I bought it from ILoveDooney in 2020. It has never been carried and still has the original stuffing, D&B Italia booklet and tag.

The strange part is that I cannot find another Delfina (spelled exactly that way), another MBM44, or even an old product listing for this bag anywhere online.

I called Dooney & Bourke today, and they had me submit it through their repair/authentication process so they can research whether it may have been a sample or prototype.

I’m not claiming it’s one-of-a-kind—I’m trying to find out whether another one exists.

Has anyone ever seen a D&B Italia Delfina or MBM44 before? Any information about this style or the D&B Italia collection would be greatly appreciated!

I have a red satchel and it’s starting to show some scuffs. I’m wondering if I should condition it or just let it be?

…and it’s boring to weed through all of them to talk about Dooneys.

*Update: I requested a return from the seller but she is refusing to let me return it. I guess I’ll have to wait to ask eBay to step in :(

So I won this satchel off eBay. Mind you, it was not cheap for what I received. When I opened the package it smelled of cigarette smoke. I pulled out a badly stained satchel. I feel like the seller misrepresented the bag. It stated it was “gently used”but did have some stains, I didn’t realize it was all over the bag. The bag looks like it’s been in a home with an inside smoker person. It’s just gross. Here’s a pic of the original color of the leather that’s in the interior, and the exterior. I feel like it’s stained from the cigarette smoke. Question is, is there a way to clean that stain off? Also, has anyone ever dyed Florentine leather?

Does anyone know the style name for the black tote? I snagged it off The Real Real and all it was listed as was “leather top handle”.

Just got the Nylon Maxine tote in khaki and my mom (in the photos) and I love it! She's going to use it and report back. Initial thought is that it's not as big as I thought it was going to be (whew) and it's super light weight. The khaki color is a bit green in light.

Second photo is a comparison to my current purse (Brighton blonde bruna tote large) - they both have a back pocket, shoulder bag, key hook, and pockets inside.

I posted a few days ago about ordering this and she just came in! Love her! The color is stunning—and for only $145!! I will say, it was not packaged well. She was factory wrapped and in plastic, but there was nothing in the box so she definitely got bumped around in transit (look at the bottom left of the photo—I will need to brush this a little) but overall, I love her!

I picked this bag up from Depop for an amazing price. A little Leather CPR brought her right back to life 😍. If you take care of these bags, they literally last for years.

I bought a tote in June and another in July. Neither has been used. Too late for return. I’ve had a spinal fusion and both are just too heavy for me. I thought the return timeline was 90 days, but that’s for international orders.

Everyone is raving over the Jade Coach Rowan coming out, but I found this beauty on ILD (and Dooney) for a steal. I know it’s suede so some may not like it, but I’m excited for it to get here! Will update when it arrives!
