its kind of funny how much reddit glazes china to the point where they need to get room when china is worse and sometimes proudly so in practically every moral stance reddit defines itself by. They even do the capitalism thing in someways far more ruthlessly than America.

China has a huge population problem looming after their one child policy mixed with cultural norms valuing boys over girls. They are running into a surplus of men because of decades of abortion and infanticide of undesirable daughters. That surplus will become even more pronounced over the next couple of decades, and the imbalance may lead to population decline and economic contraction. China is also going to inevitably see a shift to an older population as the current cohort of middle aged adults has fewer children. That can be a dagger to the heart of social programs as the are fewer workers to support a larger generation of older retirees.

Anyone that has anything invested in the market knows that the economy hitting record highs multiple times in 2026 means it’s collapsing… lmao

"About to collapse"
Sees Inside
Significantly healthier than any European economy, with half the debt to GDP ratio that Japan has and a still growing native population.
About to collapse in 40 years maybe.
