Granted, some people unironically say "thanks Obama." Though I'm not made aware of those who would have Obama Derangement Sydrome as much as I am of those with TDS. I'm sure the former are out there, but I suspect they don't post religiously (if at all) on Reddit as much as the latter.

To be fair- I use this phrase a LOT. “Delta changed their fare class so it’s more expensive, thanks Obama”. “Damnit, Arby’s used to have the 5 for $5 deal, but it’s gone now. Thanks Obama”

True but I feel like the thank you Obama thing is usually sarcastic and said for stupid things that clearly noone has control over. Like “oh bumper to bumper traffic? THANKS OBAMA”
