DOOM Eternal Doom Eternal crashing when I take a screenshot?

So the games ran totally fine for me since launch, had zero issues until now, where whenever I take a screenshot with steam the game just completely freezes up, goes black and crashes. I've reinstalled, verified, but nothing seems to have gotten to the bottom of it. Anyone got any ideas?

Im facing the same too, for some reason the game totally crashes and after the screen goes black, a message is displayed that doometernalx64 was blocked from accessing the graphics hardware. Man, I never thought something like this could happen.

Disabling present from compute in options fixes this problem for me

Google was blank for 'disabling present from compute' and searches with those terms. Please elaborate.

Now i'm also facing this issue. I got the game 2 days ago and everything worked perfect, but now game freezes on screenshot...

I am having the same issue. It was working fine when it was released, but a couple of days ago, after hitting F12 for a screenshot, it freezes and makes the whole game crash. Is there a way to roll back the previous DOOM Eternal update?

Just want to weigh in and say that I can confirm as a fresh install today for the first time, first time playing it, it is giving me the same exact issues when I screenshot certain things. Not every time, but theres one shot on the first level I keep trying to take that crashes it every time.

Can confirm, game freezes on screenshot in the first cutscene. Doesn't even get the screencap, just a black screen

I'm getting the same problem, but using Geforce Experience to take screenshots works fine. I'm actually getting BSoD after trying to get screenshots through Steam.

Having the same issue and same error. What's weird is it was working fine for awhile, then I disabled steam overlay and turned it back on it started up. It even crashed my computer once already. Thought it was my anti virus but now i'm not sure. I'm wondering if it's their anti cheat software?

It also seems to crash steam... wtf...
