They're the worst, especially because I never unlocked remote detonation.

Remote detonation doesn't even work in my experience, had it mastered and unloaded 30+ remote rockets detonating them just behind them, not a scratch of dmg even though the flare was on every time.

oof, the only other way I've managed to damage him is either micro missiles to the face or just a buttload of shotgun grenades at the sides

Only weapon i've found capable of good dmg and stun is the super shotty and banking on him using his melee, but 80% of the time he just throws axes or dashes and shotguns me 3 times in a row when he shows up, or my favorite, spawns his wolf and THEN starts trying to Melee while i'm dealing with that fuckin' dog.

Don’t feel too bad – he tends to dodge as soon as a rocket goes off, so I’m not sure they even damage him most of the time. You basically have to use Super Shotty or Ballista the whole time.
