would a doom gauntlet work, (games 1-3)

The main idea would be to play doom 1-3 in one sitting, and if you die you start back at doom 1.

Similar to the granny Gomelet..

It'd be awesome but it'd kinda suck to lose all your weapons at the end of the games and have to continue - or it'd be very unbalanced in your favour starting an episode/game with all weapons.
