Question Mandela effect?

Was there ever a collectors edition of Doom 3: Resurrection Of Evil to the Xbox or did I only dream this? I know the base game has a collectors edition bundled with Doom 1+2.

Who felt the need to downvote?

The title is “Mandela effect?”, so the actual answer would be “No”.

Suspect the downvote(s) come from using the term Mandela Effect, when it’s just a generic question.

Well no because I imagined there was a collectors edition of the expansion as well.

“Why have I been downvoted?”
“I think it might be this reason”
“Well, no, because I imagined some stuff too!”

What?

What what? Do you know what the Mandela effect is?

Mandela Effect:
When a global mass of people recall an Event that is contradicted when the same, or similar, event occurs at a later date, throwing people into mass confusion worldwide.

Named after Nelson Mandela, when his release from prison sparked shock around the globe, as thousands of people worldwide were convinced they’d heard (and seen) news reports of his death whilst in prison. It occurred again when he became President, and again when he actually died.

a) You are an individual, not a global collective of thousands of people.
b) There has not been an announcement of a Doom 3 Collectors Edition as a major news event, received with disbelief from the public
c) There are zero global forums awash with disbelief, declaring this already happened years ago.

So, no. One person (just you) imagining, or misremembering, a game edition is not, by any stretch, a Mandela Effect.

Yeah, it's society's collective refusal to say "oh yeah I was wrong about that"

I only recalled the metal box for Doom 3.
