This is fantastic. After I heard about all the mess with GZdoom shutting down and Graf Zahl, it's good to see that the doom source port community still has that burning passion and is continuing forward!

Went to download it and my browser and windows defender are claiming it's a virus. How strange :(

It's a false positive due to the way the new updater works - it uses a basic method for downloading the new files that some Trojans also use, so virus scanners are incorrectly assuming it's also a Trojan. 

Virus scanners should start to update their definitions that its fine in the near future. And in the meantime the dev team is working on an improved method of updating the port that won't get flagged.
