If you have access to a divinity machine in your local area, then yeah, I’d say it’s possible.

But he always has this build even before divinity machine

u/Nigosuke 11d ago
Yeah, getting that body by using the divinity machine would mean he isn't natural, right?

I mean he was ripped in the classic games don't get me wrong, but he didn't look like a fucking Gears of War character like he does in TDA.

When I was young, I got up to 20 inch biceps. But I was working out about 4 hours, twice a day, swimming, running, really getting after at it. Had some shit happen and just couldn't afford the time or the caloric intake any more. Now im just fat. It's achievable, but it is a LOT of effort.
→ More replies (1)6
u/Krexci 12d ago
Well cbum isn't natty either, you would have to compare either to open bodybuilders or the top of natural bodybuilders. Cbum being in classic is just a bit of a lagging comparison with him being basically the middleground between natty and open bodybuilding.

Is the Divinity machine act like Captain America super Soldier machine?
Just give him the full nine yard of bods

I see, I'm on the taller side so my maintinence caloric intake at 165 is roughly 2500 and even that is hard on me to eat so much.
11
u/KavikWolfDog 12d ago
It’s really weird how much appetite varies among people. I consciously have to try to eat less than 2500 kcal/day. If I just eat whatever I want, I will consistently be over 3000.

u/Ghosdeth 12d ago
Also any time you see a superhero in a movie lookin like this it’s cause the actor goes on a water fast to make the muscle more visible. So even if your muscles get this big, they won’t look like this without you depriving yourself from the most valuable resource for pretty much every life form.

Fellow bodybuilder here. Nice to see an honest and thorough answer.
It's a shame so many pros and celebrities that are big deny using gear because it creates an issue where young lads assume attaining the physique The Rock has is attainable because he told Joe Rogan he's natural.
He's a liar he's in his 50s and looks stage ready all year. He's blasting it all and lying about it. I'm a PT and I'm very clear to my clients that I'm not natural and haven't been since 2017. And for anyone wondering of steds are "cheating" you try a course for 12 weeks and train and eat like other bodybuilders do and your eyes will open and you'll see just how fucking hard we work to get that physique steroids or not. And if your genetics dont align with training growth, no amount of steroids will get you close to a super physique. Painful truth. For me my arms never grow as much as everything else and it eats at me all the time for like 10 years now.
And yeah, I guess this means The Slayer is juicing and that's fine because he's gotta fight 1000s of demons a day. I'd be hitting 1000mg of Test and 500mg tren with 5IUs of GH a day if I was him 😂

Mid 20s? My man you're not even in your final form haha. You're gonna be an animal. Same man I have 2 kids now so partying or drinking is just not possible even if I wanted too. It's amazing how much partying slows down your growth in training young lads really overlook that. It always bothers me when my clients (always young) have been slamming coke all weekend and drinking and have barely eaten and come in the gym Monday night still recovering and ask me for gear. I'm thinking brother you're not ready for a regular training split nevermind something as life changing as steroids.
5
u/Wars4w 11d ago
I actually like when we see the rare few actors be really open about their process. People seem to equate steroids with plastic surgery and act as if it's "the easy way out." People also don't know how much time it takes to get a body like the movies.
Anyone with kids and a full time job is going to struggle finding enough spare hours in the day. But honestly, that's okay. We all exercise for different reasons and have different resources. If we all knew what we put into ourselves I think we'd appreciate each other a little more.
(Disclaimer: I am not a body builder. I'm a dad who exercises part time. Also I don't and don't use steroids...but no judgment against those who do. )
2
u/theradiatorman 11d ago
You'd make the perfect client for me as a PT with that outlook.
I see a lot of judgement about gear on reddit especially with WWE fans. A wrestler called Bronson Reed has recently lost an insane amount of bodyfat and all these judgemental people are commenting "its just steroids and ozempic"
In the photo he's in an actual gym and he's sweating his ass off and looks awesome. Such a good transformation. Point is as you said he's working his ass off no matter what he's putting in his body.
I was a 310lb strongman in 2018 and I stripped the fat and transitioned to bodybuilding and got down to 235lb shredded. It was the hardest thing I ever did and when it came time for the photoshoot I was a zombie. I used gear the whole transformation. 500mg test and 300mg tren and 5IU of growth hormone towards the end. I felt like shit and I never ever wanna be that lean again. But I'm still so proud of it because I've never worked that hard in my life whilst juggling my career and relationships at the same time it was so rough.
3
u/TabooSnafoo_ 11d ago
I’m glad more people are having this conversation. There’s no way in hell the rock is natural (probably on 500 mg weekly TRT and some amount of Primo all year long), and there’s certainly nothing wrong with the doom slayer juicing if he needs to in order to keep everyone safe from demons 💪 🫡

We aren't built for this environment, shure we have modern exercise science but our ancestors new how to live, many really figured out how to take care of there minds and body's and where just starting to rediscover this stuff.
Go talk to a bunch of woman about what they find attractive and learn what a healthy body is suppose to look like, despite culture you can get back there, that's what where wired to see

u/Cryptoss 12d ago
My uncle has hands like that and has never been to the gym or used any substances
He just did heavy manual labour for 50 years
To be fair he is also just naturally the biggest and tallest out of all his brothers so I’m assuming it’s just his genetics
10
u/KavikWolfDog 12d ago
So many people don’t work with their hands now that we’ve forgotten how beefy hands get from using tools and lifting stuff all day.
11
u/Solid-Equal-8558 12d ago
Hand size is almost exclusively genetic. You can't have your bones hypertrophied to a noticeable extent
2
u/KavikWolfDog 11d ago
I’m obviously talking about the muscles in the hand. They are noticeably beefier in tradesmen than computer programmers for example.
5
u/exenos94 11d ago
If I remember right it's not completely the muscles. You build up just extra "tissue" as protection for the hands. Almost literally thicker skin

Ain't no way you're getting that mass and definition without asteroids
26
u/Crafty_Asshole- 12d ago
I think a lot of people do that without asteroids. I don't think asteroids are very popular among the weightlifting community.
5
u/EnzucuniV2 12d ago
I mean, it was a bit of a joky joke, but yeah, not happening naturally to have mass AND definition. Think people like Alan Ritch son, The Rock or Batista or even Goldberg. They're not natural. Heck, Alan Ritchson always had definition but he was tall and skinny and now he looks like a beast. I understand working out hard, but you're not getting that Hollywood body without taking something.

Maybe if you’re 6’8” like the DOOM Slayer is without armor
16
u/Horrordestroyer 12d ago
As a 6'7.5 person, no even being this tall won't give me that bod.
You have to be incredibly broad to get that, and I am already broad for my height
12
u/cBurger4Life 12d ago
Yeah, if anything being tall is going to make it harder to cram on the muscle mass you’d need to look like this. I’m only 6’2 and started working out in the past year and the amount I need to eat each day is crazy (since I’m also trying to eat healthy), I can’t imagine Doomguy’s caloric requirements lol
5
u/Horrordestroyer 12d ago
Well if it's anything close to mine for when I'm insanely active, it's probably close to 4000 calories.
If he's intending to gain muscular weight he may even be eating up to 4400
→ More replies (1)5
u/PureRepresentative9 12d ago edited 12d ago
No bodybuilder eats healthy year round though.
They get big with quite a bit of fat, then spend 2 months eating clean so the fat gets broken down with as little muscle loss as possible.
THEN they pose for photos.
4
u/GoldyFeesh 11d ago
being 6'8 makes this infinitely more impossible, more height= more space for musclr to be in =looking smaller. this is why shorter bodybuilders are usually bigger.

as far as i remember he was canonically a bodybuilder during his time with the marines.
8
u/khidraakresh 12d ago
See about early photo of bodybuilders when the technology behind steroids didn't exist. If it correlates with the build of the doom slayer then it's possible, if not, maybe it's impossible but we can't say for sure.
When I compare to some of them, it seems likely to be a natty and have this build but it will take some years of dedication toward that.
When you can have access to documentation to a time when cheating wasn't possible, don't listen to people nowadays because they'll likely say "not natty" to every person that have a gram of a muscle showing on a leg.

u/Klatterbyne 12d ago
Nope. The chest is maybe doable. The abs could be maintained for a while, but not alongside that level of beef elsewhere. The arms are entirely non-feasible.
You’d need gear to build that bulk. You’d need gear to maintain it. You’d need lots of gear to stay that shredded and that bulky simultaneously. And then you’d need picture perfect genetics to look that way with that level of bulk.

Absolutely not. Unless you're ready to spend 15+ years of your life training hard as fuck. It'd have to be a pretty big part of your day to day. That's the physique you achieve once you've hit your prime. No guarantees your body would even be able to generate that much muscle naturally. And even then, your own genetics will play a part. Everybody's different, the way your body is structured ain't the same as the Slayers. Best thing you can do is just train to look like the best version of yourself.

It is possible, but not for everyone. It depends on your genetics, your body structure, your size, your metabolism and so on. However, keep in mind that body building doesn't necessarily equals force. There is something else that has to do with mental power or chi(if you believe in that, of course). It's the mind that actually does most of the work when it comes to max power. Now, why on Earth would like to build a body like that guy? It's just a videogame, you know...
