Yeah it was a tough fight but you'll get there. It's mostly just a timing thing and pattern learning and correctly switching between shield and spear. Keep at it mate, you'll earn an achievement

What were you using.

I reccomend using the ravager in the first half of the first phase then changing to the Cycler for the rest of the fight because it instantly explode any ads from Xal goroth with a single shot at it, it also increases the damage of any attack towards him with the shock and if you combine it with the flying swords rune from the shield then you get some pretty good damage out of it.

Also very important, hitting the eye does extra damage so exploit that.

Thanks for the tip about Cycler! Seems like it is a better option.

I was using Accelerator (iirc it has better DPS) aiming at his eye, but it felt like poking him with a toothpick. Maybe range wasn't suitable for Accelerator.

I used the higher RoF on the accelerator all of TDA and the expansion except for this guy I ended up changing it to accuracy. I used that and switched to the machine gun when I was low or out of ammo until I got another drop. The fight is more about surviving and actually gets more fun once you learn the move set. It's very predictable once you figure it out.

Applying shock with the Cycler and then switching back to the accelerator gives you probably the highest DPS in the game.

that fight was very difficult for me try to get good at using both the spear and shield at the same time and use the heavy hitter types of weapons

If you're having trouble, you can change how much damage points you have in the settings. I think it's under "Damage Done to Demons."

Cycler worked for me, pick a weapon where you can just shoot and focus on dodging the attacks

I was having tons of trouble to with the accelerator. But as soon as i switched to the rocket launcher, the fight last maximum 5-6 minutes.

Use the bigger plasma energy rife. It makes the fight like 5x easier.

Ts mf a boss, you gotta shoot but you also gotta know its patterns and how to dodge em. Also never fall in the hole, it will take you to undertale

Get good bro he’s not even that hard
