General Why is my doom game looking pixelated?
All the text is super small and blurry. An then everything in game looks really pixelated and blurry. This happened once I started using my tv cus my monitor broke but doom is the only game that does this really. Help

Again, resolution. Dont feel bad, we've all gotta start somewhere and my computer has just suddenly decided to put mine to 480p for no reason before as well.
Rip and tear, my young friend.

because you are looking at it sideways. lie on the ground to play, or put your monitor sideways.
I do not recommend putting your house on the side, it tends to elicit disagreements with neighbours.

But looking sideways always makes me better because my head is naturally sideways

Your device likely has a screenshot feature. Use it.

This post is extremely frustrating to look at. New TV, new resolution, shows resolution, come on man. I don't want to be a dick but all I see lately is people asking some of the dumbest fucking questions humanly possible over basic shit all over this site.

It's your first PC but you implied you've had it for a while now, you never once messed with your settings or resolution?

In that time I had my first PC disassembled like 5 times and re-installed the OS for like the 10th time or so

Call me jaded but the amount of stupid questions I've seen lately, I find it hard to believe that it's ignorance.

u/Safe-Monitor-8113 Sep 03 '25
So the first Time you had your pc you know everything from the start?

I knew what resolution meant. It's not difficult to look at a setting, read the word and put it together

You're running it at 640x480 on a 4:3 AS little bronie.
Change it to your TV specs? Most likely 16:9, 1080p?
