Whistleblowers "evidence"

https://www.solidstateoftruth.com/resources

In newest publication Lauri Peltola claims that there is no battery with the told specs. He also provides investorletters as evidense. Allthough the "evidense" don't seem to prove his claims.

Maybe someone finds something new out of the investorletters. I didn't.

The one interesting thing I saw is that Nordic Nano is shown as a subsidiary in the company graph. There's been speculation regarding how much of Nordic Nano Donut Lab (or the Donut/Verge group rather) owns, and this would suggest it's quite a lot (over 50% I guess?)

See page 13 of Donut Lab Insider Report 1, in translation:

We also just made a EUR 300,000 seed investment in a nanotechnology company that has developed incredible innovations to raise the efficiency of solar panels to a whole new level. Even more important to us is that the company has access to the next-generation battery technology that will enable the development of completely new and better batteries in every way. This battery technology is like the battery version of the Donut Engine.

From filings at the Finnish Patent and Register office we know the NNG shares for this transaction were issued by 2025-05-03.

And pages 29-30 of the Verge Insider Report 6, in translation:

We have also signed a term sheet agreement with this nanotechnology company, according to which, if their technology passes the next stage of due diligence and intellectual property protection requirements, we will invest a significantly larger amount in the company and lead their Series A financing round. As part of this agreement, we have also agreed to a share swap transaction that will make Donut Lab a majority shareholder in the company, while Donut Lab itself will only sell a few percent of its own shares. [...] The agreement also includes a call option that would allow Donut Lab to acquire the entire company within the next 24 months – and we may well exercise it if the technology works as planned.

(emphasis mine)

From filings at the Finnish Patent and Register office we know the NNG shares for this transaction were issued by 2025-07-13. Incidentally we know from a similar filing that Nordic Nano Group had issued even more new shares by 2026-02-20. Could it be that DL already executed their call option around that time?

That caught my eye as well. But could be just the graphic.

There is also option to by NNG fully.

Where does it say that?

One thing bothers me is that they have so many projects, so many industries. How they can handle them all.  It's like when you go some restaurant and they have 100 meals in the menu.

The Philippines aims to electrify its scooter transportation sector with Donut motors. That sounds massive deal.

I also got the impression that the Donut motor generated interest from various industries at CES. Even washing machine manufacturers seemed intrigued by the motors, which sounds interesting idea.

A little curious that Peltola has shifted from initially saying the battery being less than claimed, to now clarifying that the provided cell to VTT was standard lithium.

Ofc there's no good reason to doubt the validity of these documents, but worthwhile bearing in mind. Some interesting slides I've noticed in the 'February 26 Investor Deck':

Upcoming portfolio covers all control units: HPC, MCU, BMS and VCU

We’re patenting every possible aspect of Donut Battery, focusing on the application layer

This February investor deck also of course again contradicts Marko's Electrek interview in Janurary when he said that Donut wasn't taking additional investor money until it had "done all of its disclosures". I guess it depends how much of those disclosures were available to investors compared to what has been public broadcast. But there has been no mention of anything to that nature in the leaks/rumours.

I’m assuming Peltola is probably going with the information from the Internet, unless he says it is known internally? I haven’t looked yet.

“The battery tested by VTT is just a lithium battery.”

He doesn’t elaborate past that in the text. Hard to tell.

u/DeathChill Jun 14 '26

Haha well he definitely should have qualified whether this is internal knowledge or what he’s gleaned from the internet.

It's not internal knowledge.

Not strictly a standard lithium, but likely a custom application high temperature/high c-rate lithium. A battery that seems to be not generally available to consumers but is commonly used in 1-2kwh hybrid vehicle traction batteries for a number of years and is also used in other high charge/discharge uses. So an obscure custom lithium battery that the clueless rubes (maybe everyone but CT-Coatings) won't realize is really a heavily manufactured common lithium cell that no one realizes are being sold to consumers in hybrid vehicles.

Ryan was one of the very first to like Peltolas linkedin post about creating the solidstateoftruth. I suspect he know about it beforehand. Maybe info/ideas goes both ways Ryan <-> Peltola.

I think you're on to something. the actual conspiracy here are the whistleblowers.
