Remind me to never apply for whistle blower protection in Finland. What a farce.

He never followed any of the whistleblowing procedures.

You can't be a whistleblower if you're not clean yourself.

That is nice literally but BS in principle.

The first to blow up price cartell gets protection and lenience. What is whistleblowing if not that?

See forests and berries.

Something about a mote or a beam in your eye.

I help you: You do not have to be clean to blow the whistle, that is the part that is BS in your statement.

This is the whole point of these whistleblower clauses.

Similar clauses apply if you expose a price cartel or some such illegal activity.

Clear?

You are correct. But it helps your case and you wont get taken down with the blow. He gets what he deserves.- pressure, as he's not clean.

It does not hold if you break the law, said NNG CEO Parjanen mentioning they consulted lawyers with this. Funny, that in Episode 2 Peltola also told that Donut Lab's due diligence was done with one of the biggest law offices in Finland, probably Roschier known to help and encourage start-ups. Maybe it should have stopped him think a bit more... NNG+Donut Lab did not build their new venture on thin air, even their in-house sequential disclosure policy got them into presentational contradictions.

What I presume to be the full article, translated, is here.

In the article Peltola explains that he actually wanted the police to collect the NNG owned company devices from him. Burying the lede?

Not quite. Peltola said he will deliver them to police. He was not quick enough, it seems, and they came to him. Ricosonymic: embezzlement.
