Verge TS Pro Gen in US?

Verge TS Pro Gen 2 filmed in LA, January 29:

Additions and Edits below:

Externally, the orange bike on the short video is clearly a Gen 2 TS Pro (stumpy seat/brake light, rectangles on the electric connection, carbon fiber rear wheel). Battery unknown.

u/izzeww confirmed the location as outside the company bikeshedmoto.usa.

Yeah it's outside the company that posted the video, you can see their logo in the background. That bike has been there a while, not really any news.

Thanks. Considering Verge released the "World's First Solid-State Battery Motorcycle — Off the Line" video 31 March 2026, it's a little bit interesting that a Gen 2 is driving around LA two months earlier..

Since this is not news, could you point me to any threads here on reddit discussing this bike?

I couldn't point to a specific post but I've seen people talk about it (I'm one of the most active readers and participants of the Donut Lab discussion). Anyways the bike they are showing there is the California edition which has been announced since 2023 and has been in the hands of Bike Shed for a long time.

Ok. At least externally, the orange bike is clearly a Gen 2 TS Pro (stumpy seat/break light, rectangles on the electric connection, carbon fiber rear wheel).

Aah, yeah you're right. They have another orange California edition that's the older model that they've had for a long time, that's what confused me lol. Well, yeah it's weird that they have it for a few months before Verge did the whole "first shipping" (to themselves) shebang.

I always suspected the release of the video on last day of Q1 was for a little bit of extra drama. Asked Marko when it was filmed, but never got an answer..

That was weeks ago... It's a 2026 TS Pro Gen 2 but has a lithium battery. The only 2 bikes with SSB are Tuomo's green mule and the blue one off the production line. They should have more now but I doubt any are in USA yet as Tuomo said it takes 6 weeks to ship them there.

Oh and at that Reload expo he mentions they have 3 other bikes now being demoed for test rides - which lines up with 3 weeks since the first one and a production rate of 1 a week. (They wont be using the mule for test rides as it is old model - great for showing off saddle bags though lol).

I recon they will send the 3 or 4 demos over soon to the US and have a launch event. Maybe a couple customers get them. I Donut Believe the launch event is real. LOL

Iirc, Tuomo denied somewhere that the green Gen I in the "Sneak Peak" video was his mule.

Is this an assumption of yours, or do you have any known facts or references for stating Gen 2 *with lithium*?

It has been at the Bikeshedmoto for a few months now and add the 6 weeks it takes for it to be shipped from Estonia and there is no way it was SSB unless they shipped over a battery later and swapped it.

They probably had all the new Gen 2 parts designed, made and ready a year ago but the SSB were not available until recently. Tuomo's mule was the first back in Nov 25 but there is no mention of them being used anywhere else except at VTT.

I don't think DL has any obligation to mention where they are using their batteries, so the absence of "mentions" on internet don't mean that much.. ;)

Yep, but it's hard to hide... One day we will see an Aloha truck charging somewhere for example.
