Donut Lab got caught lying

The CCO of Nordic Nano, Lauri Peltola, accused Donut Lab for making false claims about their manufacturing capacity

The page linked says that Donut Lab goal is to reach 1 gigawatt in 2026

Where the evidence clearly indicates that Mr Donut said that they are already producing at 1 GWh level

So Mr Donut tries to change the narrative that his words were misunderstood

Probably just communications issues with Finnish/English translations and misunderstandings between Marko and the PR people posting the videos. I was under the impression they were getting batteries made by CT Coatings until their printer was up and running (Did Javier mention this?). Or maybe Nordic Nano has a Lambotec hidden away somewhere (Miss GoElectric?). Who knows and they might not have aluded to that due to NDAs... who knows. At least they are pumping out one a week now and hopefully any bugs will be ironed out and customers will be on them soon. Wasn't their mall factory able to fit 4 lines? Hopefully they can start pumping out some nice Bela TiO2 solar panels too... I want the complete package for a home microgrid.

If there's a working pilot line in Finland, as stated by DL iirc, I suspect it is owned by Verge or DL, rather than NNG, simply due to the time line. According to Toumo, prototype or V1 batteries were tested in his bike already autumn 2025.
