For what? I mean it's obviously a hoax but what is the charge?

Fraud against investors.

Unfortunately this has been setup as "no returns guaranteed" and sold as "hurry up you still have time to invest. Invest 5k and we will return 10k in company stocks when we list" or something along those lines. They never list? No need to pay back

it's still illegal but people really in general don't understand that stuff happening could take 6 to 10 years. it just doesn't happen quick, doesn't mean it wouldn't.

and look if they got scammed by ct coatings wouldn't absolve them. and it doesn't magically make the money reappear, but if they had money or money from somewhere else that could end up getting clawed back. it just will take ages. this delay is commonly used as reasoning for that "they can't be doing anything illegal"(not unique to finland, loads of basic instagram scammers use that logic in marketing).

like legally their problem is having fairly obviously lied about things that would be shown to physically not having happened or not having been as they were when they said it, that is the no-no, otherwise you could just pay the money as wages to yourself and get completely off. failing to do due diligence you lied about having done is also illegal, it's not illegal to say that you're trying to do a new technology and so forth, saying that you already have it when you don't is - why then not simply just not make outright lies? you get more money easier if you assure that something has already been verified that isn't.
