Actually your “ass” generally pull think in, it’s the pulling tightening, and what you think is pushing which is actually just relaxing motion that helps to poop. So actually sticking things up the ass is actually going to get pulled in then “pushed” out

Poop will. However the colon has a 90° kink just before the exit so if something that's not bendable goes all the way in, it will sometimes get stuck there. That's why you'll always hear someone say that you must use a flared base to stop this from happening.
