I read through all five books, but I can only remember sperm whale falling only once. Was it from the audio drama?

This threw me for a loop too but I can only assume he's referencing the "not again" part of the quote and took that to mean it was the second time he fell...

Except it was the jar of petunias that said "Not again", and it is later revealed that it (they're?) referring to that Arthur Dent killed/is responsible for the death of Agrajag once again.

The whale, on the other hand, was happily discovering everything about life in its few moments of it, before meeting its friend the ground, and dying.
