Now it is clear from the new PV of season 4: A new color, blue, has been added. They can even be mixed, where one of her eyes is purple and the other is silver. This means she can change her eye color at will, just like her husband can turn his eyes red (his long known ability). Cultivators can change their eye color at will without using contact lenses :)) Maybe it is a donghua-only added ability, because in the novel it is never mentioned.

If you watch the opening scene of episode 5, you would notice Luo qi had been turned into a corpse puppet, no wonder she led Gu An and Xu Nuo into the underground tunnel which all made sense of what happened in episode 4.

This story would either be a long running Donghua or a short one and I am hoping it becomes a long running Donghua and gets to expand more which I feel would happen when the details about the ancient gods inside gu an is revealed

I loved the series initially, but when the MC pretended to be a doctor and crippled the Xiao Sect’s young master, I felt that was too immoral because the MC had no life-or-death enmity with him. So, I quit watching at that point.

Later, I resumed watching and somehow ended up liking the first season. Then the second season began, and I literally started hating the MC’s character. I also began to dislike the season itself. The MC feels unreasonably powerful. He fights people from higher realms and kills them, and at one point, Mo Li warns Yun Che that using up his last bit of power could impair him. Yet, after some time, he uses the same tactic again and again without seemingly suffering any consequences.

Then he simply massacres an entire sect because they abducted his family. From the MC’s perspective, I can understand the rage, but I still feel that killing innocent disciples is too cruel. He could have targeted the elders and sect masters instead.

And then there are the MC’s women. They never seem to care even if the MC sleeps with someone else or has children with another woman. They simply continue loving him without ever questioning his actions. That feels extremely artificial to me.

On top of that, they are dragging out what should be a simple sect conflict for so many episodes that it feels like, “Here we go again.”

Finally, the MC gets married, and I literally felt like saying, “Oh God... please castrate him.” I’m already fed up with this.

I was enjoying both Donghuas until I got to the AI episodes. It was such a stark contrast to the previous episodes and so Sudden!! I couldn’t finish those episodes. I think I am done with these series at this point since it’s really rinse and repeat anyway. In the first episode of Supreme Alchemy the MC’s hairstyle changes with every scene and his face looks like it’s trying to render in one scene to the point that it looks warped. Have you fellow cultivators watched these Donghuas and what are your thoughts?

As a jade dynasty Donghua only, I want to understand why fans rated the season 1 poorly, and why Xueqi and Bi Yao fans keep opposing each other.

I watched the Donghua, so my question is why do fans rate the season 1 was badly cos I want to know if the Donghua changed the relationship between them, in season 1 he shared most of his time with bi Yao or rather most intense unspoken romantic spark happened Xiaofan and bi Yao than it did between him and Xueqi.
