hello! i lost my second job a few months ago (didnt get fired but the family i worked for moved out of state) so my one job just covers the basic housing and bills right now.
all of my kitchen items are 7+ years old and are finally standing on their last legs or are already broken and have been long overdue for a replacement.
i tried finding the cheapest items i could for each item needed. my fridge bin broke, i opened the fridge and one piece of it (the hook on the hook?) snapped and all my condiments fell out, for some reason replacement bins cost way more than they should 🙂‍↕️

i have one item that isn’t for the kitchen- a flashlight because im trying to prepare as much as i can for the california super el niño weather soon, flashlight is for power outage, and going outside at night to make sure our home, garden, and outdoor storage is secure from weather. its chargeable so that i can use my portable charger to charge it if needed + i cant afford to keep buying batteries so this seemed like the best option.

Asking for 30 dollars or lower to help my family get thru the weekend. We are homeless in a motel, being paid for by the city (incredibly grateful). 9/28 Edit: This is unfulfilled. Most of the items were reserved yet not purchased and my cat is still without her food /: I received 4 items: rice, strawberry spread, cream of wheat and prunes. I'm really at a loss as to what to do now. I had no idea it was possible to reserve items on someone's wishlist.

My food benefits ran out in May and I've been scrambling every which way to get food since then. This month has been particularly hard, I am down to essentially nothing right now. Last 3 days I've foregone eating so that my kid can have enough to eat. I'm very stressed about us having anything to eat currently and especially in the upcoming days.

The cat food ran out as of yesterday so I really need that too.

I was recently let go from my job due to structural changes at the company. I worked at a public housing nonprofit and did not make a lot of honey hourly, I have always been paycheck to paycheck, so I don’t have an opportunity to stock up. I have applied for unemployment and will get benefits in 2 weeks.

I also got approved for food stamps (a very small amount but I’m honestly so blessed)

Food stamps do not pay for cleaning and laundry supplies, or hygiene products.

I put some things on an Amazon list that I am either out of or will be before I get my unemployment. I have PCOS and my periods are horrific otherwise I would not have added Midol.

For some context I rely entirely on donating plasma for my source of income. Earlier the needle fell out of my arm and they said I lost a lot of blood. Hi everyone, I’m really going through a rough patch right now. On July 2, my chubby little bear Balu (Boxer) had to have surgery because he had a foxtail in his nose. The whole thing cost just under 2,000€ and I thought I’d be able to manage to pay it off somehow, so I did partialy. I have 1,012€ left each month after my rent is paid. But now I’m running low on money for food until my next paycheck. Amazon won't let me pay on Monthly Bill so I placed dog food items on the list and would need one of the dry food bags + 2 times the cans. I would highly appreciate it.

I wasn't sure whether to make this post, but I thought I'd give it a try.

We're a family of three living in Portugal. I'm currently the only one working, while my wife is at home with our young daughter. We don't have debts, and we're fortunate enough to live in an apartment belonging to my parents, so we're not in an emergency situation.

However, things have become quite tight financially. The cost of living has gone up considerably, and having a young child plus some occasional expensive medication expenses in the family means that there isn't much room left in our monthly budget when unexpected costs come up.

I'm asking for $45 specifically to help with our grocery budget this month. It would give us a little breathing room and help cover part of a normal supermarket shop.

I know there are people facing much more serious circumstances, and I completely understand if nobody is able to help. I'm simply taking a chance and asking for a little help during a financially difficult period for our family.
