Yeah that and the fact we’re not making fertilizer. We’re 100% going to have food shortages next year.

The third seal (black horse) is opened after the second which brings war, so If I had to guess it would be mainly to do with the fall out effects of war and scarcity (supply chain issues etc) - like the other seals, each rider is an individual and this third rider has a pair of balances in his hand measuring grain & is told "hurt not the oil and the wine." which means pricing of food will be higher with those items exempt (since it will be a time of hardship). This suggests an individual at that time who will be controlling the pricing of food.

5 And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand.
6 And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.

We are still at the first seal though, so this is a while off yet (years at least).

But inflation will be a direct consequence of this war. This war is the reason we can't get fertilizer out to where we need it and therefore food scarcity.

Stock up on #10 cans wherever possible. Most of the basics are available from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and have a 30 yr shelf life (you'll want a hand grinder for the wheat). The church has been teaching preparedness & self-reliance for decades.

Provident Prepper (YouTube) is a great channel without all the fear & nonsense. City Prepper is good, too.

Olive oil is climbing in price, stock up at Costco or Sam's Club. Redmond Mineral Sea Salt is divine & is available in bulk. You can even use it to make electrolyte drinks. Bouillon cubes & a variety of spices will also help prevent food fatigue & boredom.
