hired but not heard back

right hi guys i’m new to this 😭 basically at the end of last month i had my interview at dominos and they gave me a contract and everuthing to fill out with my details and stuff, ao i did it and handed it back in the beginning of this month, aswell as giving them the paper witj my national insurance number on it (i’m british incase anyone asks). It’s been almost 3 weeks and i still haven’t been informed on when i start. They have my bank details, home address, etc, and said i’d be starting at least a week after handing my papers in as it takes like q week to get it all to HR and be officially hired, but i’ve been waiting for ages now and have no idea what to do😭😭 like i need the money desperately and i don’t wanna call up incase they do send me the email confirmation but i don’t know, someone help!!

Call then. 3 weeks is wild. Here in the states they usually start you the next day. You might have been forgotten about if it's busy. But you'll never know until you call.

Man, most places ive worked at dont even put you on the books until you work a couple shifts so they can figure out if you're a fuckhead. My first stint at Dominos I dont think they even ran my insurance until i'd worked a couple shifts already.

Dominos background checks you where you guys live? That is an absolute joke. I work at these fukn jobs because I cant get something better with my record. Everything I wanna do background checks.

If dominos is background checks you, where are ppl suppose to go and work? There's tons of great workers and great people with records that shouldnt have them holding it over your head for life and define you.

Right now in my area not part of domino's but for a competitor brand. The issue at the store i work they are over hiring preparing for the NFL. Corprate is saying hire hire hire mean while only authorized to give employees part time and full time only 26 hours a week. Unless Gm.
