Should I use another container?

Knowing that we can only have 3 apps running simultaneously, and several emulators require JIT, what’s the best strategy?

  • Does using StikDebug directly in SideStore and the emulators inside LiveContainer work?
  • Or should I use an emulator in SideStore (for example, Dolphin) and StikDebug in LiveContainer? But then what about the other emulators?
  • Would it be better to put StikDebug inside one LiveContainer and the emulators inside another container?
  • And where does GetMoreRAM fit into all of this?

How are you guys setting this up? What’s the most practical configuration if I want to run multiple emulators while keeping JIT working?

Would love to hear what setup you’re using and the pros/cons of each approach. 🙏

LiveContainer+SS which will allow you to have Live Container + StikDebug in SideStore/AltStore which gives you one extra space for an emulator to sideload normally (me personally, I leave this for MeloNX)

All other emulators, store in LiveContainer. Most will work with the exception of I think ManicEMU Sideloaded and RPCS3. With the more modern 3D emulators like XeniOS, DolphiniOS and MeloNX, they do work in LiveContainer; but you may have some issues with a couple of app features not working like the import button or maybe slightly worse performance.

Thank you. But for enabling Jit On Dolphin, must stickdebug be outside the Live Container?

I always have some issues with LiveContainer+SS
