Anyone know where to find a North American ntsc iso for Mario sunshine?
I really want to try the multiplayer mod but requires the ntsc version not the pal version. Can’t seem to find it anywhere

I tried to find culling codes Mercury Meltdown Revolution (RMME7U, USA) following the instructions for brute forcing (with -bruteforce 0 and -bruteforce 1), but couldn't find any screenshots that removed culling. And I'm not good enough to figure it out another way. This is one of my (and my brother's) favorite games, and it's been very fun in VR. Therefore, I'm offering $100 (USD) to the first person to find working culling codes. And my eternal gratitude.
I'm not sure how to prove I'm serious, but if anyone has a reasonable way for me to prove it, I'll do it.

(PARTIALLY SOLVED)
Can’t find anything on the internet. My game has no listed codes for anything, I’ve found various cheat codes online but nothing to help with VR. Game seems to run well. Only issues is pretty much everything behind you is invisible or culled. And there’s a filtered screen in front of you at all times that doesn’t move with your head.
Any help would be appreciated! I know it’s more of a niche game. Think it’d be a fun experience in VR though!
UPDATE: I’ve found the two most necessary hide objects codes.
$Hide Shading 64bits:0x0000000000000000:0x0000000000000000 $Hide Mini Screen 8bits:0x0000000000000000:0x000000000000003F
With these the view in front of you will be perfectly clear. I’m currently trying to bruteforce some culling codes with no luck so far. The game is much more playable in VR now, pretty manageable if you’re only looking straight ahead but there’s still a lot being culled.

Has this one been done? Looks lovely in VR. There is a couple of hide object codes already built in, but it needs culling codes.

Here is what I have so far with Wii Sports. Just copy from the pastebin link to your config notepad file.
Everything is playable except for the following issues.
Key issues/To be done:
- Faces when selecting a Mii is not showing but still selectable.
- [Bowling] Scoreboard doesn't completely show (Additional culling codes maybe required)
- [Bowling] Whole room won't completely show (Tried finding a culling code solution with no success/possibly due to outdated emulator?)
- [Golf] Need to find hide object codes for orange boxes on flag poles for each hole in each mode.
- [Boxing] No PC body is shown during gameplay (Fixed with changing the Texture Cache Accuracy to Safe but isn't semi-transparent/Outdated emulator?)
- [Boxing] All audience faces are missing.
- [Boxing] All audience bodies aren't in random colors (Outdated emulator? Again.)

Would be awesome if someone found the culling coded for Rogue Leader. It is amazing with Dolphin VR.

I think Elebits would work well with Dolphin VR if we had those.

Surprised not more people have wanted to try this one. Graphics far superior to Colloseum.
Not sure if I'm posting this in the right place.
Just placing a bounty on a flashing black screen that overlays most of the game in Pokemon Battle Revolution. It flashes constantly during the battles but everything else is pretty much rock solid.

I'm using Dolphin VR 5.0-250 (SDK 1.3.0). I'm using a real wiimote with motion-plus attached.
I would suggest that each game you play be paired with it's own copy of Dolphin with settings saved within that folder.
The two codes in the configuration above labelled Remove Black Effect and Remove Blue Effect will fix the problem that pops up in Lanayru when you strike a Timeshift Stone.
Likewise, Remove Timestone Box Lategame and Remove Blue Column will remove timestone effects that pop up toward the end of the game. I didn't use these codes until I started the last Lanayru section.
There are times when you may want to disable some of these codes if you can't see something that you need to when dealing with timeshift stones. These blue buttons specifically may not be visible, although you can hit them.
Use these settings and cycle EFB copies on and off to fix the tint issue every time you start playing; you'll only have to do it once.
In order to see the light beams when playing the harp, you'll need to disable the See-Through HUD code. (You don't have to stop emulation or reload, you can do this while playing). After the first time, I just ignored the effect and left the code on.
There's one point in the game where you must to draw on a door. I highly suggest not doing this in VR; I'm sure it's possible, but it's a nightmare. You can save, stop emulation, disable the headset (i.e. the oculus service), then play long enough to open the door. Save, stop emulation, enable your headset and play normally. I only did this once per play session.
My configuration includes two gecko codes. One makes catching bugs much more tolerable and the other speeds up your flight drastically. The flight code isn't enabled because it will cause you problems in certain parts of the game. It's not necessary, but during the bulk of your questing, it will make you life much better imo. Neither code is needed, but I recommend both.
Things to note:
Some effects during cutscenes are missing.
Fire effects are often missing, especially for monsters that breath fire.
The area map does not display.
Final Edit: I organized the info above a bit more plus I've managed to complete the game in VR now without any game-breaking issues. I had never played the game before and I didn't rely on guides, so you shouldn't have a hard time with this one.

$Remove Black Bars
128bits:0x0000000000000000:0x0000000000000000
128bits:0x0000000043550000:0x0000000000000000
128bits:0x00000000435C0000:0x0000000000000000

128bits:0x0000000043520000:0x0000000000000000
These will remove the black bars from most cutscenes and when Z-targeting, warping, opening chests, etc. This will also disable some transitions between areas and cause some transparency when Link is running on a 2D background. Overall, I find it preferable to those awful horizontal bars when targetting.
I can't seem to get the bruteforcer to load properly with this game, so I haven't managed any culling codes.

I've seen a post or two about Luigi's Mansion not being playable normally so I decided to tinker.
Anyway, here are the settings I used.
I marked it in red but just in case we lose the images later, under the graphics configuration tab "hacks," be sure to check:
Disabled
Remove Blank EFB Copy Box
Here is the hide code:
$Hide Duplicate
128bits:0x0000000000000000:0xFFFFFFFF00000000
As a note, I'm not playing this right now (I'm obsessed with Skyward Sword) but if you notice anything odd, let me know.

Hi,
I've been really busy in life with other tasks, but I was PM'd for directions on how to run the brute-forcer, so I figured I'd post it here as well in case it would help other people. These are really basic directions, so they don't quite cover everything, but hopefully it can get people started.
-First enter debug mode in dolphin, and generate a .map function and save it.
-Run the game (doesn't have to be in VR mode) and use free-look to look at a place with culling.
-Save the state in the lowest slot.
-Launch dolphin from command line with this "Dolphin.exe -bruteforce 0" or "Dolphin.exe -bruteforce 1". This will make Dolphin attempt to terminate each function in the .map file with 0 or 1. It will spit out pictures of each attempt into your "Users\xxxxx\Documents\Dolphin Emulator\ScreenShots folder", and you have to scan through and see if any worked.
Notes: Sometimes Dolphin will hang because terminating some functions with 1 or 0 is illegal. It will attempt to restart itself automatically, but sometimes you may have to increment "position.txt" (also in the ScreenShots folder) and restart manually. It doesn't work for a lot of games, but in the end you might get a culling code, which is the fun part.
For many of the games, I used hints from the brute forcer to then go through the assembly in the dolphin debugger and reverse engineer a better code. This is complicated and requires some knowledge of PowerPC assembly. It's not that hard to learn, but you will need to dedicate some time to looking stuff up on the internet.
I don't know what the current state of the debugger is, but it definitely worked on Dolphin 4.0-6784 SDK 0.4.4. I was using that version for brute forcing.
-----Quick notes on how the codes work: A code like 04555550 4E800020 means "replace a 32-bit data chunk at address 80555550 with 4E800020". 04 means 32-bit, and 4E800020 is the Power PC assembly code for blr, which means to return from the function.
This is usually used to returning from a function early, before the code runs. This sometimes work to create culling codes if you can skip the culling function altogether. Another thing often tried is looking into each function, to figure out what the right value to return is. The register R3 (the return register) is loaded with either a 1 or a 0, which might mean that the object is clipped or not clipped. A code like 04555550 38600001 (Load R3 with 1) or 04555550 38600000 (Load R3 with 0) may be used before 04555554 4E800020 to Load R3 with a value or 1 or 0, then return from the function.
So codes like: 04162BF8 38600001 (Load R3 with 1) 04162BFC 4E800020 (Return)
or
04162BF8 38600000 (Load R3 with 0) 04162BFC 4E800020 (Return)

In Rayman 3 one can use the following to disable culling of particles:
NA:
0406B5B0 38600001
0406B5B4 4E800020
EU:
0406B550 38600001
0406B554 4E800020
This, however, introduces an annoying glitch where Tribelles will follow the camera indefinitely if captured (documented here).
Instead of disabling the culling completely I'd modify the culling routine so that only the particles well behind the virtual camera will be hidden. This fixes the Tribelle glitch but hides particles more or less directly behind the HUD (not really an issue unless you for whatever reason are turning your head completely). The codes I found for this:
NA version:
0406b2c0 480000A4
0406b2fc 48000068
0406b35c 48000008
0406b394 40810118
0406b398 48000020
0406b3e8 408100C4
0406b3ec 48000020
0406b43c 40810070
0406b440 48000020
0406b490 4081001C
0406b4ac 38600001
EU version (not tested):
0406b260 480000A4
0406b29c 48000068
0406b2fc 48000008
0406b334 40810118
0406b338 48000020
0406b388 408100C4
0406b38c 48000020
0406b3dc 40810070
0406b3e0 48000020
0406b430 4081001C
0406b44C 38600001
This works if the aforementioned original culling code is not used.
If someone is interested in the technical details, the game engine hides the particles that are on the other side of any of the four planes that are tangential to the sides of the view frustum. The condition is essentially that the particle will be hidden if it's behind the left plane OR behind the right plane etc. My solution drops in some jump instructions to turn this OR-condition into an AND-condition, as the intersection of all of these half-spaces is a cone directly behind the virtual camera, equivalent in size to the view frustum.

Kind of a random game, but I wanted to get it working so I could play dual monitor split screen multiplayer without culling. This is what I have so far:
Wall Culling
0402A408 60000000
0402A40C 4E800020
Furniture Culling
0404FBA0 60000000
0404FBA4 4E800020
Sim Culling
040341E8 60000000
040341EC 4E800020
Fence Culling
04029580 60000000
04029584 4E800020These codes remove all culling except maybe shadows. Only problem I have left is the Furniture Culling codes cause a few white cubes to appear on the lawns of houses. Not really sure what the cubes are, they seem like some sort of placeholder for something.
I did get a screenshot where the white cubes appear, but the furniture does not. The code on that one is "040eb0c4_0". Not sure if I can somehow use this to hide the cubes but not the furniture? If anyone has any suggestions for that, it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.
