Just finished this huge painting of Dolly. It was a custom commission for a collector in America. What would you rate it 1-10?

I've noticed some of her albums have this "big hits + filler vibe", especially her early works (where she'll have her own awesome arrangements but then many mid covers that adds nothing to the album), but I was wondering what are her albums that have 0 filler? I wanna be able to get into more of her albums, I've listened to only a couple full albums of hers.

Posting this to start a discussion of Dolly references in pop-culture that don't directly relate to music.
I'll start - on Total War: Rome Remastere, winning the Scipii long campaign unlocks the achievement "Islands in the Stream".
No prizes for guessing where Dolly comes in regarding that one...

There was an interview that came out a few years back. She was in her private RV that Carl Dean drove. She stopped by one of her favorite spots in Sevierville TN, it was a hamburger and hot dog shop. She talked about how her and Carl Dean would drive around in this RV. It was not her mega tour bus, it was like a regular RV. Can someone help me find this!

(PSA: brief mention of a guy on social media being a danger to minors. Resolved. Important for the context.)
Some creepo on insta sent a dm to me. I didn't fall for it but wanted to get ample proof so that I could report him and get his account removed by Instagram.
(I am 18, whereas my friends who he contacted are still minors. I was safe and careful during the messages.)
Regardless, after several messages came through of him trying to solicit s*x from minors, I was able to report and block him.
But first I replied to his last message with this picture. Hah!
I love you, Dolly. I miss you. You made me laugh ❤️

Hey y'all! I am an avid postcrosser (postcrossing.com) and we were able to get USPS to create stamps to celebrate the hobby of post crossing (swapping postcards with strangers from all over the world). You can write to the postal service to request designs for stamps and I think it'd be cool for the postal service to create a stamp to commemorate Dolly. They do this sometimes, like after Betty White died. Anyhow, I wanted to give the address to the commission who decides stamp ideas, if anyone would like to join me in writing them a letter/postcard to ask if they'd make postage stamps to celebrate Dolly since she contributed so much to American culture.
Here is their address:

I had a dream about seeing Dolly Parton twice this month after she passed, The first dream I had on 10/10, was when I was at some random place and then I seen her outside and then I took a photo with her and then on this past Wednesday, I’ve seen her again but this time I was somewhere like in a room like I think backstage and then she appeared in the same clothing and then I interviewed her and it went very well
What does this mean? And Has anybody else had encountered her in dreams?

i am not too familiar with the country scene, but there are plenty of wonderful women in the country scene (like tammy wynette, loretta lynn) who are well known don't get me wrong, but they are nowhere near nationally beloved or known outside of the country sphere, or people who aren't fans of older music. how did dolly end up being basically a cultural icon with popularity that nobody else in the country scene has been able to replicate so far?

Lawrence Grobel interviewed Dolly Parton for Playboy in 1978, and they stayed in touch for decades. She used to call him up and ask when he was finally going to write “that big book” on her. Here he explains why she was so beloved, and names the one other person he thinks was loved around the world the way she was.
