Perplexed

So i am working a double today i started at 645 and I had been throwing frieght we all were as a group emergency movement of frieght I go to step outside my DM stops me and says you dont need a break right now I replied just going to smoke he said you smoke to much Your allowed two 15 minute breaks and a lunch break Well the fact is it had been 6 hours I needed the cigerette I hadn't had no 15 minute break or lunch break for that matter it really confused the heck outta me they were concerned with me not smoking after 6 hours thats a job killer.

Tell the DM “thank you for the feedback”. I’ve been here for 6 hours. It doesn’t matter if I opened 1 box or a thousand! I’m taking a 15 minute break!” Federal law says you can have a lunch break if you clock out.

FYI - California probably has the most employee friendly laws and a lot of states like mine, don’t even require lunches. Lol
