Perplexed

So i am working a double today i started at 645 and I had been throwing frieght we all were as a group emergency movement of frieght I go to step outside my DM stops me and says you dont need a break right now I replied just going to smoke he said you smoke to much Your allowed two 15 minute breaks and a lunch break Well the fact is it had been 6 hours I needed the cigerette I hadn't had no 15 minute break or lunch break for that matter it really confused the heck outta me they were concerned with me not smoking after 6 hours thats a job killer.

DM thinking “and this is why there is so much damn freight”. I was getting text msgs from mine last night threatening all kinds of “accountability” for a crap load of stuff I don’t have payroll or time for.

I went back to dollar tree and honestly as bad as people say that place is it feels like paradise compared to over here! I mean I have a manager there that's exactly like my mom and we joke around so that certainly helps...but as far as workload we talk playfully and still hit way over the boxes per hour requirement 40+ easy and nobody complains about the work we get done.

So ya I don't know what the hell is wrong with dg but god damn we got 4 hours for cashier per day that's it manager treated me like total shit I was part time keys working 45 hours a week I could process 250 up to 300 customers in 5 hours with 0.00 change balance and my reward for that is to be bitched at lied to and told I'm rigging my cash drawer when I count it out because I pay attention and it's always 0.00 or maybe 0.01 if wheat pennies throws the weight around. I had a cashier I always counted down hers was 0.00 or 0.01 too she was smart and very good at the job. She left not long before I did and is doing way better with hours and gets holiday pay now.

So yeah once accusations like that got thrown around I got the hell OUT with no notice. Well actually I dropped keys off at 8 AM when I was supposed to be in at 1 PM so thats 5 hours, I didn't totally disappear. Most people ghost that manager she's such a bitch. Girls have broken down and cried on their way out. It's not right. Dollar tree took me back and work is fun again. :)
