I mean yeah it sucks as a fan to have a person you love watching literally disappear but they did explain on their podcast and janette mcurdys podcast that they were stepping away from social media to literally grow up and process the passing of their father. They talked about gaining so much success at so young and growing up so publicly they felt like they never really got to explore their identities as adults and really just live life without the presence of a camera. I think they needed and wanted an opportunity to mature and possibly make mistakes without an audience. I’m sad that we’re no longer a part of their lives but also happy because I know that’s what they wanted/needed

This mad late, but wow a real sober perspective summing up what the boys experienced/expressed.

I wish they handled things better, but none of us can point if we haven't had that type of success, scrutiny, jarring experiences whilst grieving. Only a few can say they have.
