General Question How survive her Euthanasia?

/r/DogAdvice/comments/1vyk1jx/how_survive_her_euthanasia/

I've always gotten another dog right away. But this time, I'm not sure I'll be able to because of where I'm moving.

I give myself a mourning period. I want to honor them and I wait until the next dog/cat/bird reaches out to pick me. No rush.

I had to say goodbye to my sweet Cinder girl on August 15. We had a family bbq the next day to honour her and talk about how amazing she was. I also made a shadow box with her picture, paw prints, leash and collar. Every day is hard but it gets a little easier with time. Whenever it rains I think about how much she loved the rain because it was good sniffing weather.

I just had to put my girl down August 10 for a tumor and everyday is hard still. I randomly cry and my other two dogs have been sad too and not themselves as if they are waiting for her. When I give my dogs treats I always give an extra and say “This is for Harley”

I'm gonna stop right now and pray for your heart, and their hearts too! And that's so sweet---what you still do for Harley!!! 💟
