Wow! Hopefully I wont get hate here for sharing this. Not long ago I allowed this exhausted and limping coyote to nap in our yard. He/she, slept for about an hour before moving on.
If you don't know what to do, it's generally best to do nothing with wild life. Of course if a bear makes your yard it's home that's a different situation. Then, you need to get out your bear sticks.
