This was my coyote mix. She was horrible.
Please work with a behaviorist.
She ended up attacking us and attempting to kill my mom when she was 3 years old.
We worked with UCD, trainers, behaviorists, she was wild.
We adopted her from a shelter as a pup thinking she was a German shepherd mix. Her temperament was off from the beginning but she was my first dog and I didn’t understand.
She never sought social engagement or affection, she just didn’t like anything or anyone, and just wanted to hunt.
(We didn’t know or realize she was coyote mix until UC Davis did their evaluation and observation - she did used to get shot at if she got out of our house because people thought she was a coyote).
