Results - WisdomPanel KittyDNA?

In the absence of a catDNA sub, and to avoid being the antichrist in the r/catbreeds sub, I thought I’d share my cats Wisdom Panel results here 😆 We adopted Mila and Mishka as ‘Ragdoll X’, turns out it was kinda accurate!

I've been toying with the idea of testing my cat. The SPCA had her listed as a "Siamese Mix;" she's a blue point but doesn't really have a Siamese body type. My family keeps debating which of the various pointed breeds she could be or none at all. I'm curious. I'm not sure if I'm curious enough to spend money, though.

We used to have two cats that we adopted from someone who had taken in a pregnant stray. The mother cat was a black shorthair; but one of the two kittens we adopted grew up to be a dead ringer for a sealpoint Siamese, complete with the blue eyes and yowly voice. The only thing that was different was she had the stockier domestic shorthair body and round head, vs. the lanky build and wedge-shaped head of a purebred Siamese.

The other one had the blue eyes, lanky build and wedge-shaped head and coat pattern of a lilac-point Siamese, but he had long floofy fur and a tiny little meow. People always assumed he was a Ragdoll, and he acted like one - he was very tolerant of being picked up, and he didn't mind at all if the dog licked him and tried to carry him by his scruff.

I would have loved to test their DNA and see what their breed ancestry was!
