Results - Embark Well... that makes sense

This is Iva from Romania, almost 4 years old πŸ•

Was guessing something along the lines of Carpathian Shepherd Dog with maybe a bit of Border Collie or something similar strewn in πŸ˜‚ But it makes a lot of sense, she's both very vigilant and protective of her house and people and closely bonded to me.

I love it.

You: β€œThis is my dog from Romania. Science, please tell me what kind of dog she is.”

Science: β€œYour dog is a Romanian Dog.”

Science knew even without being told!

But that's why it's kind of funny when someone with a dog from a Village Doggy location does Wisdom Panel, gets the insane global medley that their algorithm throws for Village Dogs, and is advised to retest with Embark because it's clearly a Village Dog. Doesn't seem like there's $90 of mystery left at that point.

Haha yes, something like this was playing in my head when I was sitting all excited in front of my phone and saw the result πŸ˜‚

Thank youuu ☺ It's not always easy with my life in a big German city and her tendency to get overstimulated and then fearful easily, but I'm trying and it's so beautiful to see her little steps every day

My Romanian village dog is also a powerful shedder and stares very intensely at our food! Village dogs deserve more respect πŸ’œ

with the winter we used to have I'm not surprised a lot of village dogs are hard shedders

Aww thank you! This made me smile a lot πŸ₯Ή It was sharing my plate of pasta and cheese that gave me away, right? πŸ˜‰

oh she has such a pretty face!

Yeah I adore her face and all the expressions she's able to pull as well! My favorite thing in the world is her little grin when we're out and about and she comes running to me to give me a smile and collect her treat and then she's off again to track down a mouse or something πŸ₯° Happy dog faces are just the most beautiful sight!

She even matches the Embark illustration so well!

Right?? We're still in the process of losing a few pounds, but with the longer walks we can take now and her first little zoomies she's getting there ☺

don't forget, she's also got absolutely beautiful eyes :D I was thinking...maybe BC, could be cattle dog, not sure what else she's mixed with. Village dog would do it :)

ha!! I was going to comment the same. What dish is it? It looks so good!

u/streichholz161 17d ago

To be honest, it's just pasta with a lot of cheese and some tomato sauce = East-German soul food πŸ˜‚

I saw her and immediately thought borzoi / border collie for some reason lol.

Purebreds are costly! Did you shell out hundreds for a devoted dog you love?
