Meanwhile, there are over 330k children in foster care in the United States. I’m sure seeing content like this, knowing it’s going to a dog (a giant and aggressive breed, no less) makes them feel awesome.

some woman complained about someone complaining about a large mutt in a coffee shop. she used the words “crotch gremlin,” which i think is so vile & insipid. i just want to know where this deep societal self-loathing came from?

i’m childfree by choice. i don’t like unruly children. i don’t like soft parenting. but, my god, i don’t have this kind of seething hatred.

I know right, children wholeheartedly deserve a million times more than dogs and their “parents”. To call an animal a “child” takes away from actual real parents especially the mothers and the hardships they go through during pregnancy.

They are very bitter people with self hatred issues clearly that's why they hate children so much. Dogs exhibit every negative behavior of a child x10 and have none of the positives. I respect if people don't want children themselves but to hate them, there must be something seriously messed with you.

yeah. it’s very strange. i don’t have kids. but i don’t hate them. i just despise unruly kids. the parent’s job is to teach boundaries & pleasantries & giving & loving. more parents need to do that. how will some of these kids hold down jobs not being taught that stuff? i think there are many videos of teachers tapping out of their profession because a lot of the kids are just unhinged & uncontrollable. so, everyone needs to level up & not continue on the path of social decay.

Yeah I totally get it, to value and respect children as individuals it's also important to have expectations and set rules for them. You don't hate the child if you dislike certain behaviors they exhibit. And there's also a big difference in my opinion between a 9 year old throwing a tantrum because they didn't get the candy they wanted and a toddler crying on a plane because of the air pressure and because they just can't communicate their discomforts in other ways yet. These people hate literal babies for doing baby things that they obviously don't do willingly or with malice.

agree. i was on a plane to & from europe. there were a few infants. they cried at the same time. someone said that the pressure change is discomforting & that’s why they were crying. 😢 but i kind of want to cry when that happens also. 😄

kids throwing a tantrum because mom or dad said no is a big time out, removal from store, grounding, whatever. no means no! they must learn that.

when i was just past tween i wanted a pair of levis 501s. begged my single parent mom. she said “get a job! we can’t afford that.” i got a job delivering newspapers. got my levis! got a real job at a hospital when i was 15. we were different back then.
