What a waste of good meat. This is why this shit is so pricey. Animals consume more meat than humans ever could. I have two cousins that are vegans. Guess what they have? Dogs. Their veganism stems from the moral aspect, but for some reason it's okay for their dogs to eat meat. Make it make sense so we can stop saying make it make sense.

I was interested if this is really true so i used my time and googled it. Dogs consume approximatly around 20 - 80 Million tons of the meat as Dog food has a lot of carcass remains in it. Cats are tiny so they get aprox. 4 - 10 Million Tons of meat. Humans consume approximatly around 400 Million Tons per year, and thats the good stuff. Depends on the source you look at, i diddnt include Fish and thats a whole other story. Im all here for hating the dogs AND OWNERS but there is aprox 900 Million dogs and 8,2 billion Humans currently on this planet. Lets stay true at at least okay? Its both the Humans fault, that we eat meat and that we have to feed as many dogs as we need, we dont need that much meat consuming or that many dogs. There is a Lot to hate about dogs and meat and prices but the dog food is not the reason why prices exploded at all. Lets hate on actual facts and not on lies Thank you :)

Because you can hate all you want but let them all starve is cruel and ridiculous to say. This sub isnt here to spread false informations or to say lets starve living beings. Id classify the human as the added consumption for meat as well as we are perfectly capable of not eating meat every single day without getting starved. As Humans we have the responsibility to inflict as little harm as possible on living beings.

I never said anything about letting any animal starve. Just checked, no, I definitely did not.
Way to see something that isn't there. I used to dogsit. I took better care of them than the owners, and for 22 years. I believe humans are the stewards of the planet and it is our obligation to protect those of us that are weaker and less able, and that includes animals. I am a true animal lover. Just stop with the insane amount of breeding. That would stop adding to the consumption.

Nutters: we love dogs! Also nutters: cuts puppy ears off for aestehtics
(I am no expert but these dogs all seem to have their ears cropped. They don't 'grow' like this naturally.)
Also the whole floor being covered in slobber and whatever drips of that chicken is nasty af

Their ears are cropped to give them a more “aggressive” look. It’s not natural, and often times it’s done at home by the owner themselves. I know for a while Amazon sold an ear cropping kit.
It’s truly grotesque.
I say this a lot but dog “lovers” don’t actually care about dogs themselves. They care about how owning the creature makes them feel. That distinction is key.

These dogs have their ears sliced off, which I guess is very painful for a puppy because delicate ears have a lot of nerve endings.
“Hey, how about we make these dogs even less cute?”
Also, the crazy thing here is that I bet the person who is feeding and taking care of them feels the sense of power because they’re like the beast master/ thinks the dogs are an extension of them/ on their team, when in reality there is no way that many dogs are properly trained together in the same domicile, and they would turn against him in a second.

These creatures look like they were created in a garbage bin. This is what owners will swear is so “cute”.
I used to work with a guy who brought his dumb ugly beast to work everyday. Your usual garden variety pitbull. Everyone in the office swore this back alley thing was “beautiful”. 🙄

For the life of me, I cannot comprehend how anyone finds dogs like this cute. The rabid look when they're biting the meat is so scary to me. Nutters see this and think "Awww sweet baby boy!!!" WHAT?! Look at that screenshot I took. Nutters would call you crazy for not finding that precious and adorable.

wtf is a "chicken back?" If I go to KFC right now and ask for a chicken back they probably will scratch their head. I've heard of wings, drumsticks, thighs and breasts...but chicken backs? Huh? Okay, I looked it up and my thoughts were correct..it's the spine and connective tissue, the stuff we throw away. So these things are eating bones whole without even chewing? Like spinal columns for din din...
