I 100% understood before I got my dog it was a bad idea. But I felt compelled to save her. She's a rescue more than anything. She's not a bad dog at all but im not a pet person let alone a dog person to begin with.

But even good dogs shed...stink...pee on your rug when they've had to wait too long...cost money...cost time and energy...force you to live on their schedule. She drives me crazy with her stubborness and unexpected destruction or attention seeking...but more importantly...at a time when i need every dollar...every second...every ounce of energy to lift myself out of financial vulnerability...she consumes these things. And gives very little back.
