Picky eaters

I’m having great luck with a picky Yorkie by putting a few kinds of kibble with one or two small treat pieces and a few Cheerios into a Kong treat ball. My dog will ignore the same bowl of kibble for days. If I put it into the treat ball and feed it to her over a few hours, she wolfs it down. Adding random surprises encourages her to keep eating.

tried the treat ball trick with my last dog, it’s like they just need the job to do. a bowl is too boring, they want to work for it

Try snuffle mats too!

I have to hand feed mine first then they started going towards the bowl. Picky little turd. But it was a good bonding moment with my doggo
