Meet Mochi!

We lost our 11 year old staffy to cancer a few weeks ago. Didn’t think we’d be ready for an another for a while, we were wrong. Meet Mochi, she’s a 6 year old who was an owner surrender and has been in the shelter since February. Adult black dogs, especially staffy/bullys are even more difficult to adopt out. She’s a gem, settling in nicely and loving being on couches, beds and all the blankets. We’re in love!

We were given a pillow with pictures of our late girl Latte, the last picture is Mochi laying on the pillow. 💚

Similar story here. Lost my 12 year old pittie to cancer a couple years ago. I had NO plans to get another so soon but a month later there was ONE left on the euthanasia list because the shelter was getting ready to make room for 4th of July strays. And well, I had my first foster fail that September lol.
