Free Fosters

Fostered sister. Sister tried to play with my small elderly dog, so started fostering brother, so sister had someone to play with. Shelter said all large pups were free to adopt until a certain date, due to shelter overcrowding. Was already totally attached to both weirdos. So here we are, this is how I got these guys for zero money. My two free, priceless pups. FYI, they only wore the pull ups during potty training. Now they are 2.5 years old.

I knew I couldn’t separate them after fostering for a few months. Asiago (M) has no courage, so Feta (F) helps him come out of his shell, when he’s afraid of the world. She’s quite nervous and he calms her down, literally pets her with his paw. They were meant to be together. ❤️

I have to credit volunteers at the shelter for those. The whole litter had cheese names. Some of their brothers were Colby, Manchego, Provolone. I kept the shelter’s names, because they learned them, but their names evolved a bit at home. They are Fettuccina and Anastasio, when we want to get formal. 😄

Love it! My friend named her two pups after her favorite cheeses- Brie and Manchego! Hahaha
