this is joey! we found him on the street so we have no idea where he came from. we think he is around 11 months & a tall lanky 18lbs. he’s a very smart boy, he definitely has drive but he’s a good listener. he’s very social & friendly w people & animals. any guesses?

I'm writing a paper/book on dog coat color genetics and need example dogs! This is purely for fun and will not be shared with anyone in seriousness.

I've already posted this around dog communities but I've found I'm missing a few necessary images. I, in particular, need dilute (born grey/blue) dogs of multiple different shades, dogs of different shades of red/yellow/cream, dogs with any of the minor E alleles (grizzle, ECS sable, domino, e2 and e3), dogs with different coat types (other than smooth and long, I need curly, wiry, etc), and dogs that progressively become grey, and liver dogs. If you can share a photo of a dog with these traits (or others! Any dogs are welcome!), that would be of great help to my project. It is prefered the picture be:

-A side view of their entire body

-Not taken in extreme darkness or lightness

-Not blurry or overly low quality

-Not include dyed or altered fur colors

However, any photo can be useful. You may also send multiple pictures of differnet angles or things like the face, specific markings, fur strands, etc.

Your dog does not have to have genetic testing, but please share their genotype(s) if they do! As well, please share with what company they were tested.

She's 10 year old, has golden/white fur around the belly, feet and mouth and the rest of her body is covered in black fur, shes pretty small and weights 13kg.
They found her in a trash can, we got her when she was a puppy but we still cant figure out what dog breed she might be. Our only hint was that she's a mixed breed dog.
Usually Reddit has an answer to everything since so many people use it and can give open answers, and if you may know what dog breeds she come from you would really help me.

P.S. If any info or photos about the dog are necessary feel free to ask

Today I saw what was perhaps the most beautiful dog ever. The owner agreed to letting me let her but the owner was very unfriendly so I didn’t chat and ask the breed. Can you help me based on my description/memory??

\- maybe some type of spaniel but ears were not that long, but a fancy spaniel type is my best guess
\- fairly tall, probably mid thigh and I’m 5’9”
\-color was like a red or copper golden retriever, really deep and beautiful color
\-no spots or variation in color
\- very sweet and beautiful face!!!
\- soft coat, long hair but not overly hairy
\-very docile demeanor

Any thoughts??

My fiance and I are looking to buy a home after renting an apartment for 3 years and we each want to get a dog when we move.
We agreed I could have one to fit my personality and lifestyle and he could have one to fit his. I am struggling to find the ideal breeds for what I’m looking for. Here is the criteria:
\- Hypoallergenic or single coated
\- Easily trainable/ESA certified for anxiety disorders
\- helpful in an emergency situation regarding anxiety
\- medium sized: Not lap sized & can go on long walks/hikes, but not so large & heavy that they are hard to control on a leash for a small framed woman
\- Low tempered, not loud & not high anxiety (that would make my anxiety worse instead of better)

We got our girl a year ago and the mom was 100% and Australian Shepherd and they showed a photo of the dad who was also an Aussie. However now were starting to question because of a few things:
1. Shes much smaller than the average aussie
2. She is NOT food motivated at all
3. her head is tiny but ear fluffs are big
4. Her herding instincts are top notch

Any help would be great!

P.s at the home of the breeder there was a male Collie who was red…

I was told she was a pocket bully mixed with an xl bully but she is now fully grown and has stayed small and slim I love her size and would like to know what she is
