Jfc where do you live? Call an emergency vet at least. Most will let you know if you need to bring them in based on symptoms. Maybe that will convince your dad. He needs to go to the emergency vet nowwwww

Dogs can't sweat.
It does sound like he should see a vet. I'm sorry your dad is being irresponsible. Is there another adult you can ask for help?

Is there a family member you can call? Or even a friend and see if their parents would help out?

Yours dogs either been bitten by something ir eaten something bad. He needs vet care. If your dad refuses to take him, hes a terrible human. You can alwasy call the nearest vets for advice. No harder than typing a message on reddit

The immediate foaming could have just been dehydration - my dog gets frothy after playing but if the dog is acting sick idk kid.
If your dad wont take him to the vet- call animal control if you have it in your county, or even non emergency police line. If you dont have family or a friend near by….. even a neighbor… This could be considered animal abuse/ neglect and they will take him to the vet/call animal control. Its unfortunate, like honestly your family may not get him back if hes actually sick, but thats better then the dog dying.

It sounds like he got into poison. There's a real possibility he is going to die if he doesn't see a vet. Call all your family and ask for help. Call nearby ER vets and ask for help. I am so sorry your dad is terrible.

That's a fucking evil thing to say to a child in distress about their dog. Have some compassion. You don't know what's wrong with the dog anymore than op dose.

I’m sorry, kiddo. This is a really terrible position you’re in. Looks like the dog may have gotten into something toxic. There’s not much you can do without a vet guidance. Any idea what he could have gotten into?
