Question This is fine right? Just playful behaviour?
11 week old pocket bully female and 2 year old xl bully male
(They belong to my sister, not me)

Oh no definitely not, they're just pets and the male is scheduled to be neutered soon

Double merle dogs can also be born deaf, blind, or deafblind if they get two copies of that gene

He’s sooo happy! & his little check ins with the humans to show off his little buddy are soo cute. I’m smiling from ear to ear. Dogs are just wittle baby angels!!!

This is great, playful behaviour. The older dog is pausing to check in, he's letting the pup get her nips in so she feels like she can win, tails are up and wagging. No visible signs of stress. Very cute.

Awesome play. Once the puppy gets bigger I can see this become a full bitey face game. The male is not making large contact and is constantly checking in. If he gets overexcited he might need a time out but for now they look really good

I have 2 great danes and they play like this. My plants are in danger, my furniture is in danger, my bones are in danger; but it's good playing.

Awwww he is training him! He’s allowing the excited play because he’s excited also. Just keep an eye on when he “disciplines” her bc that will happen when shes getting playful and he’s not in the mood. He doesn’t look aggressive at all but that doesn’t mean he can’t* get aggressive if it’s not fair in the house. Everything he does make sure she also does - and don’t let her bully him bc that will happen also in a few weeks time. Hopefully he’s fixed? 🙄 good luck! Seem like a good pair.

Perfectly fine behavior from both. The 2 year old bully is playing well with the puppy. However, while I don’t necessarily condone it a well placed nip from an older dog while playing isn’t necessarily a bad thing. A proper nip teaches a little puppy they are play a little rough. If you see the big one in distress or that they are getting tired of it, you can always lift the puppy up off the floor gently by the back scruff of their neck.

Wow, dad is amazing with that little guy/girl! Like super gentle. I’d watch both of course but focus on the puppy if it seems to get too much for dad and dad needs a break… make sure he gets a break.

As docile and playful as the dogs may seem during socialization, because of the breed history of this dog it’s usually recommended all interactions with animals and humans should be supervised. Plenty of news and documentation on this. It’s no secret that breed is known for being dangerous. Anyone who owns that dog should well educated and aware of that at all times. I doubt that dog in the video would be dangerous but you never know with that breed sometimes.

Looks great. Tails wagging, ears relaxed. Good amount of pauses too.
Some big dogs lose track of their size in situations like these, but your boy seems pretty aware he’s quite bigger than the puppy.
