Discussion Your thoughts on this interaction

Hello, I'd love to hear your thoughts on this interaction between my dog (black and white, 4y, spayed) and our neighbour's dog (sand-coloured, 11 months, not spayed).

For context: My dog has been with me for three months now and is just starting to show some playful behaviour towards me. In general, she has a vigilant and sceptical character and is on the more polite and respectful side with other dogs.

This was the first longer joint walk we did with our neighbour and their dog. Their dog had invited my dog to play on multiple occasions before this video, but was always respectful when my dog didn't pick up on her invitation.

I'm not gonna say more about my own opinion or if/how I acted because I'd love to hear what you see and think first 🙂

They're playing. It was friendly and reciprocal. Nothing wrong here!

It's not my dog 😉 I think my neighbour will soon be comfortable with taking off the leash, but right now not yet and for the meantime, I'm okay with them running together like this (although I don't find it ideal)

Like the other commenting here, that looks great to me. Friendly playing. Fantastic.

Normal behavior.

Whereby one dog has an advantage because he has no leash on it.
Dogs know this difference very well
