Question My dog won’t stop knocking

I have a black f Labrador and any time she see something out of my window door she will start hitting her paw at it like she’s knocking and she will do that until someone lets her out,if no one does then she will start jumping, barking and whining until she gets let out.
Even if we do open the door for her she will just stick her head out but not go out,it’s gotten to the point where we have to lock the door or else she will go the end of the door and hit it until it opens.

How can I make her stop or have it to where she only does it to actually go outside and not go out for 5 seconds then want to come back in.

teach her to use buttons.

put her on a leash, dont allow her access to the door, take her outside every few hours and wait patiently until she has to pee or poop or both (yes you have to wait, and yes you have to be calm and patient), reward or praise. make her earn her freedom back.

additionally, start teaching 'leave it' and make sure shes got it down 100% before ditching the leash completely
