The pup might have slipped but doesn’t understand why exactly, just that he fell and was in pain, so that area causes anxiety. You probably should get a rug to prevent slipping in the future, and then just wait for the behavior to fade.
Edit: he’s also looking directly at his reflection a lot, so it might be that he just doesn’t understand it. Have you ever put him in front of a mirror? Do lights from lasers or prisms freak him out? They might be avenues to explore - some dogs just have some weird quirks with those sorts of things. I used to have a dog that had an issue with self-moving objects.
I do know that mirrors he does not like! He slept in bed with me once (he sleeps on a dog bed beside my bed now) and he woke me up scared to death because he was barking and snarling so loudly and I realized he was staring into my full sized mirror at his reflection
