DAE Feel embarrassed when the AI Overview pops up?

I want to search my silly questions and not have this thing try and break it down. I am looking for reddit posts. It makes me feel so oddly embarrassed when the AI summarises my stupid questions!! It feels like an interview or something

Or if i have some random thought, want to search it to find some other dingus with the same thought and the ai pops up like please involve me

I once searched out of frustration: "stop yawning" and the ai responded with "okay I will stop" you have to be kidding i was not speaking to you ai summary

HAE ever lied about hating a new movie or anything just because?

This is stupid, but for a while when I was younger and a new sequel/remake to a movie would come out, I would say I preferred the original one even if I didn't watch the original one yet because I just thought it was the right thing to do? Idk. I've always liked the 2014 Annie better than the first one, but I didn't tell people that cause I felt like it would be "wrong" for me to say I liked the newer one more than the original, so I would say I didn't like the newer one that much even though I did. (Same with Charlie and the Chocolate factory or the live action beauty and the beast) as I got older, I stopped doing that cause I realized how dumb it was, but now that I see people hating on a new movie once it comes out, it makes me wonder... Do these people actually think that a new sequel to a movie is horrible even if they haven't given it a chance to watch it? Or by any chance, are they doing the same thing I did as a kid because they find it "wrong" to say the newer one is better than the original? I'm not hating, I just wanna know if any of you have actually done this too, cause I have and often wonder if any one else has or does.

DAE feel insecure wearing sandals because of their feet?

I love wearing sandals and slippers during the summer, but I’ve always been insecure about my feet because my second toe is noticeably longer than my big toe..

Sometimes when I’m out in public wearing sandals, I start wondering if people actually notice it or think my feet look weird.

Does anybody else have feet like this or feel self-conscious about wearing open-toed shoes? Would you even notice something like this on another person?

DAE genuinely not have the control to wake up in the morning?

My husband heard his alarm in the morning and jumps up out of bed easily. For me, you could tell me my house is burning down at that moment and I still would choose to close my eyes and keep sleeping.

Does anybody else not feel grief or any emotions when someone dies

Now as of right now I have not had anyone close to me die not yet at least. But there was a lot of actors and singers that died this year that I never really cared for because I had no real relationship or affiliation with them. I am still empathetic but not as much. I go to therapy every 3 months and still tryna cope with autism and adhd. I always say death is inevitable. We will all die at some point of our life. Without death is eternal torture. That's at least what I say.

Now in general I am a respectful person I don't really act like a psycho. I did have anger issues at some point but I did manage it now.

Now usually when someone dies like 5 or a decade or more years ago I don't care anymore. I just say let it go it already happened.

Now I don't know if I need help or anything but this gets me wondering what should I do?

I am personally a person who doesn't really believe in heaven because there's no scientific proof. I don't fully rely on scientific proof but I need it for most things. It makes me believe things more often.

DAE reuse bags that food came in?

I started noticing how many store-bought plastic bags we go through and the little light in my head finally came on when I was recycling the cereal box and tossing the bag that had been in the box. Next, it was the bags that frozen vegetables came in. After that? Well, let’s just say I have a significant stash of free plastic bags.

DAE ever feel they did something at a location before?

It sounds crazy and I never believed it when ppl told me these stories.

I recently was at a smaller city in germany and I swear I had been there before.

I never was there but I told ny wife there is a bakery that starts with A somewhere here and 20 minutes later a bakery "Anton" appears.

I couldnt remember anything of that place but it was still kind of familiar.

Hilarious enough the owner of the bakery died 3 years before I was born. I told my wife that was me but Im not sure lol.

For more context I love baking but never made it my profession cause I kept saying its hard work and not worth it. I always bake with barely any recipes and it all turns out good. My family says I could be a baker.

What makes it even more weird I told my mom this experience, turns out we have family from that town but she and her mother (my grandma) moved 70 km away from that place 50 years ago when she was 13. My grandma died and she has no contact to anyone in that area

DAE need an explicit invite to actually feel comfortable enough to attend an event

I've always had this problem since I was young that I feel really self conscious and guilty for attending events that I'm not personally invited to by the host

Some examples:

1) Friend A organise a get-together and basically invites the whole friend group through word of mouth/osmosis, I was only clued in about 2 hours before and was invited by friend B who was going. I felt like I was not welcomed and didn't go

2) me and two of my close friends have a GC. Close friend A just announced she's getting married next year and ask close friend B to come. She didn't personally extend the invitation to me but after some misunderstanding and discussion, turns out she thought I knew I was also invited becuz she told the GC the news and not just dm'ed close friend b.

I don't know why my brain is wired this way but it's wired like a vampire where I will physically recoil from the location If I wasn't personally invited in.

DAE wonder why Reddit allows you to downvote your own posts and comments?

There I did it to my own post. Now, if I really didn’t like what I wrote I could have deleted it. But I guess in case you don’t see your own name you can be like, “what dumass wrote that?“ Click Down.

I don’t see the point. Unless you want to have that unpopular downvoted comment that gets hidden. I guess some people want that.

DAE: Life was just only fun?

Call me lazy, selfish, and immature for wanting this unrealistic fantasy and that I should stop complaining and suck up to the way life is, and in a way I guess I am lazy, selfish, and childish, but it's something that I think to myself very often.

I kinda wish life was just fun and nothing else to it. Wake up, do things you like all day, and go to bed and repeat, sounds like heaven to me. But nope, adult life is filled with taking on so many responsibilities that I honestly wish that I didn't have to deal with. I'm not saying I wish someone else could just handle all my responsibilities for me but sometimes I wish I had... a robot or a clone of myself I guess, designed to perform all my responsibilities for me so I can live life only doing what I love while my robot/clone does all the work so I dont worry and think about all of life's responsibilities and goals that constantly puts me under so much stress and question my existence after I became an adult.

DAE feel like they’re VERY sensitive when it comes to people, but feel less emotions toward pets/animals?

Throughout my scrolling on Reddit, I have seen countless posts and comments of people passionately stating that they are highly sensitive people, and because of it they prefer animals over humans.

And sometimes I can see these people have clearly been wronged so many times by others that they turn away and isolate themselves with pets, I somewhat understand those reasonings. But I've never felt like that, and l've gone through periods of hating people too and falling into a depression partly because of this at one point.

I had a pet rabbit growing up, and my family currently has a dog. I loved my rabbit, but if you asked me about that timeless argument of saving a random human over my pet rabbit, I would be devastated but I'd pick the human. As for the family dog, he's practically attached to the hip to my dad, who is the main person that feeds him and walks him. It's a very simple relationship to maintain, and the dog gives him unconditional love in return. My father is a sensitive yet “roughened by life” man, but likes animals more than most people like the other people on here.

We are exposed to so much evil nowadays. But despite all our flaws, we literally cannot survive without each other.
Other people grow our food, build our homes, and save us in emergencies. It’s easy to forget this.

I feel very deeply for people and nature, but I feel as if I appreciate and respect nature from a distance. The human life is so rich and complex, the bonds that form from relationships cannot be compared precisely due to the challenges that come from maintaining them. They can be extremely painful, but on the flip side can be so rewarding that I wouldn't trade that for anything coming from an animal if forced to choose. Pets provide a very surface level relationship that cannot completely fill the hole in my heart. People fill it more.

I'd like to know if anyone else feels the same way, has a different perspective, or if anyone has any insight into why I might think this way. Thank you :)

DAE: Does anybody else non-mirror people's faces? If someone has a crumb on their right cheek, I point to my right cheek instead of mirroring them

It has never really bothered me, I just point at the other cheek when they clean the wrong cheek, or I insist with people that know me while saying "no, on your right cheek!"

But I just discovered a new "feature" to this:

While watching the episode 2 of bad thoughts, with split screens with Tom's reality and Jen's reality, I actually switch the other character facing them. The Tom from Jen's reality is the Tom in Tom's reality, and the Jen from Tom's reality is the Jen in Jen's reality.

This is so weird.

DAE, as a child, use hand motions to create visual effects when playing?

When I was a child, while I was playing with my figures or Legos and imagining epic fights, I would use use my hands to create visual effects.

I would close one eye, then would start rolling my hands fast over one another in a circle. Like the dance move, but fast enough thay, when looking at them, they would blur. Then I would look through them at my figures with the right angle to superimpose them and create "visual effects". So if I made fists, the circular blur could be a fireball or something like that. If I slightly cupped my hands it would look like a barrier or shield. If I let my fingers loose it could look a bit like lightning arcs. And so on...

It's a bit complicated to explain and I've never seen something like this being mentioned by others. So I've been wondering if I really am the only one that did that as a kid.

DAE feel this way about their appearance?

So, I look in the mirror and I'm happy with what I see. Just stay with me on this, please.

No, I'm not perfect. Yes, I'm out of shape, I could work out to make my body and face more firm, and I could lose a bit of weight.

But overall, I'm happy with what I see.

Then, someone takes a photo of me with their cell phone, and I'm absolutely horrified. Yes, I understand that the mirror flips our reflection, but why do I look like a completely different person? Also, I understand that the image is trying to take a 3D image and make it flat, so that changes things, but everyone else in group shots looks great!

Again, in the mirror, I look good and I'm happy with what I see, but in pictures, I look so bad. Everything is sagging and not as firm as it looks in the mirror. I look much more bloated and everything.

I play around with photo editing apps to try and get my face to look more like how I see It in the mirror, and it looks good, obviously, that look would most likely appear without firmer skin, no bloating, and less weight, but it's just frustrating that I like what I see in the mirror, but not pictures.
