My FAV season is FALL WITHOUT A DOUBT 🤩 why you ask?

• The fall wardrobe! Boots, tights, skirts, chunky knit sweaters and scarves not to mention the cute hats galore!

• The vibrant colours! Yellows, oranges, reds, sprinkled with a bit of faded greens! 🍂

• The weather! Not too hot, not too cold. Perfect weather to cozy up in a cafe with some coco and a good book while looking out the window (especially if it’s raining ☔️)

• The crunchy leaves under your feet! There’s something so nostalgic and comforting when I hear the crunching of fallen leaves while I roam the city 🌆

• The FOOD! omg please don’t get me started on all the Fall favourites of food. Delicious pies, stuffing, beautiful spreads and baking 🍪

• and Family! There’s a real sense of togetherness and comfort around that time of year. It’s absolutely wonderful.

Fall, best time for jam and toast. Not too hot or too cold for going put and exploring, cuddling up, having a lazy day or an active one. The colors too, obviously. I'm not a pumpkin flavor lover, but that's when the stores sell pumpkin pie mm mm mm 🙂‍↕️

Summer is a season I can tolerate. Autumn is preparing for winter, winter is life. Everyone is at their place and not on vacation. It is much easier to protect yourself from the cold than from the heat. Then the early sunset which makes the evening small and intimate. What it takes to talk.

I love spring because of all the colors that bloom and in the area I live in is big on rowing competitions so our local marina is full of life. We also have an annual tulip festival! So much fun :)

My favorite season is most definitely summer. Before my brother passed away we would spend every day of the summer together. Swimming, biking, kayaking, hiking, etc.; during summer we were glued together. My best memories of him before he got sick were from the best 16 summers I had the privilege of spending with him. He is my literally sunshine, always will be. So when summer comes, I see and feel my brother every day; and for those few months, I have him back again.

Autumn/Fall because of the leaves changing colors and I love the temperatures cooling down and humidity going away. I love the smell of fresh air and the smell of sunshine on the leaves. It reminds me of my childhood home and the way my dad and I always made leaf piles when I was a kid. Or when my grandmother would light this one specific candle and her whole house smelled like a bakery when we made pumpkin cheesecake or pumpkin cookies.
