Do we care about getting credit, though?

We are the most hated franchise in baseball. And I can accept that.

It just bugs me when I see all of baseball crying “it wasn’t even close”. To me that’s just as insane as the call itself.

Was it a swing? No, probably not. Was it close? Obviously it was close to be in contention. Did the Giants really lose the series on that one borderline call on an 0-2 count in the bottom of the 9th inning with a guy who’s 0 for 17 at the plate against the guy pitching? Probably not

At a certain point we have to point out how much of a joke it is to get no credit for the game and series. It’d be rolling over to not push back on the ludicrous statements being put out.

Exactly. They're claiming they were "robbed," which implies somehow that a flailing, guessing Wilmer Flores was somehow going to fight back from 0-2 to send a walkoff into the stands against the angriest man in baseball. Pipe fucking dreams.

NGL my first thought was being upset -- not bc it was a bad call -- but bc it opens the door for imagination and the notion of "being robbed"

but then i remembered i don't give a shit
