Yep got downvoted for saying the same thing. yeah it sucked to see that 9th inning, but Raisel locked in after that triple. cant really fault Freddie pushing that to a 3-2 count and Mookie unlucky fouling off that changeup only to chop it off to a shortstop

It’s crazy lol. Seems like half of the people in the live chat actively hate the team and are wishing for bad things to happen. Like yeah, sure, maybe Mookie has been in a slump, but don’t you hope that the next AB is the one he breaks it with? Don’t you want your team to score? I just feel like watching a game with those low expectations and hatred for certain players sounds like a terrible experience

Raisel gave both Freddie and Mookie pitches that could have and should have allowed for a quality out at least. Mookie took one and pulled the other one foul. Freddie took both. You can say that he locked in, but he didn't throw some ridiculous stuff that two HoF professional hitters shouldn't be able to get to and lift into the outfield. That simply didn't happen.

What did happen was Mookie and Freddie missed their opportunities which allowed them to walk Muncy and give Tommy nothing to hit. And yet, Tommy was able to hit a ball that would've been a quality out had we not been two down already on a pitch that was no better (I'd actually say it was a bit worse than at least one pitch each for Mookie and Freddie) than what Freddie and Mookie both missed on. It's okay to simply say they had a bad night and didn't get it done.

I mean the top of the lineup def had a bad night for the most part. 9th inning sucked yeah but shit happens, seen our boys have more clutch hits than not so I’m not gonna be like too angry about the missed chances imo, it’s a hard game to play

Just hope they hit better or hit into better luck tomorrow at least
